Session 15/6: Foreign investors traded in a negative direction again. Foreign investors bought 44.8 million shares, worth 1,675 billion dong, while selling 54 million shares, worth 1,847 billion dong. Total net selling volume was at 9.4 million shares, equivalent to a net selling value of 191 billion dong. DGC was sold the most by foreign investors on HoSE with 88.7 billion dong.

At a press conference on the morning of June 15 on banking activities in the first 6 months of 2022, Deputy Governor of the State Bank (SBV) Dao Minh Tu said: As of June 9, credit increased by 8.15% compared to the end of last year, an increase of 17.09% over the same period in 2022, in line with the more positive development of the economy.

After the 2% interest rate support package through the commercial banking system as part of the loan package to support the economic recovery and development program was issued by the Government, many banks have started planning to implement the program. For example, OCB has applied for a support level of VND 400 billion (in a package of VND 40,000 billion) under the 2% interest rate support program and is waiting for approval from the State Bank of Vietnam.
