US stocks rallied for a third straight session after a number of large businesses reported positive business results, easing concerns about inflation and recession. At the end of the week, the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose nearly 3%, while the S&P 500 and Nasdaq gained 4.3% and 4.7%, respectively. All three US stock indexes simultaneously had their strongest month in 2022 when the Dow Jones rose 6.7%, the S&P 500 gained 9.1%. The Nasdaq, while still in a bear market, was up 12.4% in July.

At the recent briefing, the Ministry of Transport informed that the number of passengers passing through airports in July was estimated at nearly 12 million. In which, domestic visitors are estimated at 10.6 million arrivals, increasing more than 40% and international arrivals are estimated at 1.3 million arrivals, decreasing 65%. The total volume of goods transported by air is estimated at 119,000 tons, down 9.3% compared to the time before the Covid-19 epidemic appeared.

The stock market fluctuated and struggled during the trading week from July 25-29, but VN-Index still surpassed the 1,200 point. Domestic individual investors boosted their net selling of VND 1,294 billion on HoSE, up 70% compared to the previous week. Contrary to last week, domestic institutional investors traded negatively again when they sold a net of VND 682 billion.
