US stocks fell after a series of consecutive gains from the beginning of the week when US bond yields reached their highest level since 2008. Ending the session on Wednesday, the DJIA decreased by 0.33% to 30,423.81 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell 0.85% to 10,680.51 points. The S&P 500 index fell 0.67% to 3,695.16 points.

By the end of July 2022, total deposits at banks were about VND 5,629 quadrillion, up 6.2% compared to the end of 2021, equivalent to every day, Vietnamese people deposit nearly VND 1,565 billion at banks. This figure is also much higher than the average increase of 726 billion/day in the first 7 months of 2021 and nearly 1,200 billion/day in early 2020.
