Wall Street's main indexes opened sharply higher on Tuesday after a smaller-than-expected rise in U.S. consumer prices raised hopes that the Federal Reserve could soften its aggressive rate hike stance. Technology stocks - which have been hit hard in 2022 because of the rising momentum of inflation and interest rates, also recovered significantly yesterday. Apple, Microsoft, Amazon and Alphabet are all up more than 3%, Netflix and Tesla are up 4%.

DXY-Index fell sharply after data showed US core consumer prices inflation rose less than expected last month, reinforcing expectations that the US Federal Reserve (Fed) will slow the pace of growth interest rate at the end of two meeting days.
