US stocks fell on Friday, following a year-end sell-off as investors worried about the risk of a recession when the US Federal Reserve continued to raise interest rates. At the lowest point of the session, Dow Jones fell to 547.63 points before recovering partially.

The Banks Association said that it had held a meeting to call for a unified application of the deposit interest rate at the maximum term of 9.5%/year to ensure the banking system liquidity at safe level, especially in the last months of the year, on that basis, to reduce costs in order to reduce lending interest rates to support businesses.
