US stocks fell on Tuesday, as concerns such as rising interest rates and high inflation that roiled markets last year continued to plague investors in the new year. Tesla shares plunged 12.24%, hitting their lowest level since August 2020, following disappointing fourth-quarter deliveries. Apple shares fell 3.74% on reports that the company would cut production because of weak demand.
