New data released by the SBV shows that the average overnight interbank VND interest rate (main term accounts for 90-95% of transaction volume) in the session 22/2 increased to 6.11%/year from 4.81%/year before. Compared to the low recorded on February 15 (4.05%), the interbank overnight interest rate has increased by 1.5 times in just a week.

VIB: According to the report at the general meeting, VIB expects pre-tax income in 2023 to reach VND12,200 billion, increasing 15.3% compared to 2022. Total assets and total credit balance are expected to increase by 25%, in which the total credit balance will be adjusted depending on the level allowed by the SBV. Besides, the bank aims to increase capital mobilization by 26.2%.
