The central exchange rate today (August 15) was announced by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) at 23,881VND/USD, up VND33 compared to the listed level yesterday. With a margin of 5%, currently the USD exchange rate commercial banks are allowed to trade is from 22,687 - 25,075VND/USD.

BID: BIDV announced to deploy many preferential loan packages with a scale of up to VND140,000 billion, interest rates from only 6.5%/year. Accordingly, from now until the end of September 30, 2023, BIDV will spend VND40,000 billion to deploy a short-term preferential loan package for individual customers (new and existing customers) when borrowing for production purposes. Interest rates are only from 6.8%/year for loans with a term of less than 6 months and from 7.8%/year for loans from 6 months to 12 months.
