Asian stocks were mixed today, influenced by new economic data released by each country. In Japan, a key measure of Japan's trend inflation accelerated to 2.2% in October, marking a fresh record high in a sign of broadening price pressure that heightens the case for the central bank to dial back its massive monetary stimulus. In Hong Kong, private home prices extended a fall in October, dipping to their lowest since March 2017.
