The U.S stock market gained points on Friday Jul 12, with the DJIA index setting a new record high, as investors bought in other groups of stocks than technology such as Home Depot +1.7%, Caterpillar +1.4%. The Producer Price Index (PPI) for June rose 0.2%, higher than the expected increase of 0.1% by experts, however, according to data from the FedWatch Tool, traders are still betting with over 93% probability that the Fed will cut interest rates in September.
