In Hong Kong, the Hang Seng Index inched up 0.16% to 22,008.11 points. Meanwhile, in China, the Shanghai Composite slipped 0.05% to 3,286.65 points. In South Korea, the Kospi Index rose 0.65% to 2,565.42 points.
