Pinetree Accompanies the Investment Competition ‘Fib Bull & Bear’

Pinetree is honored to be the Platform Sponsor for the investment competition “Fib Bull & Bear” organized by Dai Nam University.

This is the first time Dai Nam University has held this exciting academic competition, offering a dynamic playground for students passionate about finance and securities.

Alongside Pinetree, the competition welcomed the participation of major sponsors and academic partners such as VP Bank, Stavian, ACCA, Think Ahead, KeyPersion Academy, and Blueinfo.
Right from its launch, “Fib Bull & Bear” attracted nearly 200 contestants from 20 universities across the country, including the National Economics University, Banking Academy, Foreign Trade University, and Electric Power University.
The competition consisted of four rounds: an online test, knowledge assessment, simulated investing, and final presentations with investment strategy defense. At the end of the journey, the top 4 outstanding teams stood out with clear strategies, convincing investment performance, and claimed impressive prizes totaling 18 million VND.

As a companion to the competition, Pinetree was honored to sponsor the Stock123 platform – an investment simulation app using real market data that allowed participants to practice and experience trading as if in a real environment.
“Stock123 is a highly suitable platform for students to practice stock investing. The app enables users to build portfolios and test strategies in real-time. Its user-friendly interface also makes it easier for students to access financial knowledge,” shared Ms. Du My Dung, Academic Specialist of the Faculty of Finance and Banking at Dai Nam University cum a member of the Organizing Committee.
