Domestic gold prices in Vietnam unexpectedly reversed and dropped sharply after a previous gain. SJC gold bars fell by as much as 1.1 million VND/tael, retreating to 117 million VND/tael, while gold rings and jewelry also declined significantly, down between 300,000 and 600,000 VND/tael.
