Asian stocks continued to rise today, supported by investor optimism over potential progress in the ongoing U.S.-China trade negotiations in London. In Tokyo, the Nikkei 225 index rose by 122.94 points, or 0.32%, to reach 38,211.51 points, led by technology stocks, buoyed by strong performance of U.S. peers overnight.

On the monetary market, the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX) reported that in May 2025, it conducted 17 government bond auctions issued by the State Treasury, raising VND18,049.5 billion. Cumulatively in the first five months of 2025, the State Treasury has raised VND170,917 billion through bond auctions, reaching 34.2% of the 2025 annual target.
