Across Asia, equities mostly advanced as investors awaited the upcoming Fed meeting tomorrow night. Notably, Japan’s Nikkei 225 briefly surpassed the 45,000 mark for the first time, before closing lower at 44,902.27 points (+0.3%). Meanwhile, South Korea’s Kospi gained more than 1%, buoyed by the government’s decision to scrap plans to raise the stock investment tax.

DGC: The Nghi Sơn Đức Giang Chemical Complex project will be expanded with a second phase, adding a designed capacity of 75,500 tons of chemicals per year along with battery products. The new products include potassium sulfate (20,000 tons/year), hydrogen peroxide (15,000 tons/year), basic purified chemicals (500 tons/year), and batteries (2,000,000 kWh/year, equivalent to 40,000 tons/year). To implement this second phase, DGC has revised the total investment capital for both phases to VND 2,900 billion, an increase of VND 500 billion compared to the original plan.
