Asian stock markets extended their gains as they all closed in the green, with investor sentiment improving due to rising expectations that the U.S. Federal Reserve will implement a third consecutive rate cut at its upcoming meeting. In South Korea, the Kospi trimmed its gains after the country’s Monetary Policy Board voted to keep the benchmark interest rate unchanged at 2.50%. This could be a signal that the Bank of Korea is nearing the end of the current easing cycle.

Gasoline and oil prices decreased by 250 to 1,020 VND per liter from 3 PM today, following adjustments by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance. Specifically, RON 95-III gasoline dropped VND540 to 20,000 VND/liter. E5 RON 92 fell VND520 to a new price of 19,280 VND/liter. Similarly, diesel and kerosene prices decreased to 18,800 and 19,700 VND/liter, respectively.
