In the first trading session of the week on February 2, the domestic gold market continued to sink into a sharp downtrend. The price of SJC gold bars and plain round gold rings simultaneously plunged, retreating to around the mark of 168.6 million VND/oz. Under general adjustment pressure, the price of gold jewelry of all kinds also decreased by 500,000 - 4 million VND/oz compared to the last weekend session.
