After the holiday, Japanese stocks continued to rise sharply as the Nikkei 225 index reached 58,000 points for the first time in history, boosted by the restoration of confidence in domestic politics and the economic program of the ruling government. In South Korea, the Kospi index rose sharply by 2.1% and also reached a record high of 5,466.9 points for the first time.
