Asian stocks were mixed on Thursday, with Japan's Nikkei 225 index continuing to set new records after Wall Street showed signs of improvement overnight thanks to the technology group. Including today, Japanese stocks have extended the series of gains for 3 consecutive sessions. Yesterday, the Japanese government appointed two new members of the central bank's council, both of whom have taken a moderate policy stance, in line with Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's approach.

On the Day of the God of Fortune, domestic gold prices fluctuated in mixed directions. Specifically, SJC gold decreased by 1.3 million VND/ton in both buying and selling directions, currently at 184 million VND/ton; meanwhile, the price of gold bars of DOJI and Bao Tin Manh Hai increased slightly, increasing from 200,000 to 300,000 VND/volume, currently at 185.5 million VND/volume.
