Asian stocks continued to experience a fiery trading day, in which the South Korean market reduced to compensate for yesterday's holiday when the Kospi index fell the most in 19 months, this weakness mainly came from two pillar stocks, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. down nearly 10% and 12%, respectively. Samsung shares plunged after a report revealed that mass production at the company's factory in Taylor, Texas, has been postponed to 2027 instead of this year.

After cooling down during the Lunar New Year, interbank interest rates suddenly increased sharply again. Specifically, the average interbank overnight interest rate increased sharply to more than 11%/year. In addition, the average interbank interest rate also soared by 0.6 – 6.3 percentage points in most terms of one month or less compared to the end of last week.
