Asian stocks closed in the green, notably South Korea's Kospi leading the recovery in the region as it opened up more than 5% after thermal oil prices and US President Donald Trump signaled that the conflict with Iran may be coming to an end. Oil prices fell to below $90 a barrel last night after President Donald Trump said he was considering gaining control of the Strait of Hormuz, the world's most important bottleneck for the crude oil market.
