The interbank interest rate cooled down in April 1 to more than 8% after soaring to 12%/year on the first day of the week, when the State Bank continued to net inject a large amount of VND through the OMO channel to support system liquidity. The black market exchange rate has also cooled down to 27,500 VND/USD, down more than 500 VND in both buying and selling directions.
