Asian markets traded mixed on Wednesday, following Wall Street's weakness last night as investors assessed the latest developments related to OPEC, as well as a report pointing to OpenAI's weakness. The United Arab Emirates will leave OPEC on May 1, a major blow to the production coordination alliance between many of the world's largest oil producers, especially those in the Middle East. Japanese markets are closed for holidays today.
