The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite both rose in the early session of the week as semiconductor stocks recovered and President Donald Trump tried to maintain a fragile ceasefire. Shares of Micron Technology, the memory chip maker that led the market's recent rally, have recovered nearly 10% after falling 13% in last week's session. Shares of Nvidia and Broadcom also rose.
