Asian markets are differentiated. Japan's Nikkei 225 rose slightly and continued to anchor around the top, while China's Shanghai Composite inched up slightly. On the other hand, South Korea's KOSPI was the sharpest decliner in the region when under pressure to take profits in semiconductor and artificial intelligence stocks, which have risen very hot during the past time and are highly sensitive to all fluctuations of technology waves and interest rates.
