US stocks continued to rise in the session of July 15 thanks to technology stocks and positive signals from PPI inflation. The producer price index (PPI) unexpectedly fell 0.3% in June, while economists predicted the index would be flat. Over the same period, the PPI increased by 5.5%. Investors seem to be reducing their holdings of key semiconductor stocks and turning to the stocks of some tech giants. Notably, Amazon and Alphabet (Google) rose by about 3%, while Microsoft went up by almost 3%. Apple shares rose 4%, reaching an all-time high.
