Asian stocks experienced an intense sell-off. South Korea's KOSPI index plunged more than 10%, the sharpest decline in the region, forcing the Korea Exchange to activate the program order break mechanism to cool the market. The focus was on the two semiconductor giants Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix when they both evaporated more than 12% of their value. The reason is the fear that global chip companies will lose their dominant position, after Chinese memory chip company CXMT went public with an increase of 466% and raised up to $8.6 billion.

Saigon Gold, Silver and Gems Company listed SJC gold bars at 137.50 million VND in the buying direction and 141.50 million VND in the selling direction, respectively down to 4 million VND in the buying direction and 1.5 million VND in the selling direction compared to the previous session.
