Asian stocks went up in unison. Japan and South Korea are the two strongest breakthrough markets in the region, with cash flows focused on technology and semiconductors. China increased considerably, Hong Kong only inched slightly. The expectation of the US and Iran towards ceasefire negotiations and the prospect of reopening the Strait of Hormuz are the common driving force of the whole region.

CPI in July decreased slightly compared to the previous month. On average, in 7 months, CPI increased by 4.39%. The manufacturing PMI reached 52.9 points, improving from 51.8 points in June. The enterprise expanded the labor scale for the first time after 5 months. Newly registered FDI reached 36.36 billion USD, up 50.9%. The trade balance shifted to a trade deficit of 20.52 billion USD. Production and foreign capital are the two pillars of solid support for the second half of the year, the risks to monitor are trade deficit and exchange rate pressure.
