This afternoon, South Korea's KOSPI index rose the most in the region, the push came from the memory chip manufacturing group when Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix both increased by over 7%. Japan's Nikkei 225 index rose in line with the semiconductor group, the weakening yen continued to support the profits of exporters.

The price of SJC gold bars plunged in today's session. Saigon Gold, Silver and Gems Company, Doji System and Phu Quy Group jointly listed 140.8 million VND in the buying direction and 143.8 million VND in the selling direction, down 1.2 million VND each in both directions compared to yesterday's session. Bao Tin Minh Chau adjusted the most when lowering to 2.6 million VND in the selling direction.
