JOB PURPOSE

To be responsible for conducting equity research and analysis to support the Company’s clients and internal stakeholders in making informed investment decisions, and for producing and hosting multimedia content — including livestreams on the Company’s YouTube channel — to expand the reach and engagement of the Company’s research and market insights.

CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Conducting fundamental analysis of listed companies/sectors, building financial models and valuations, and producing equity research reports (initiation, update, sector reports) in line with house methodology and compliance standards.
  • Collecting, processing, and monitoring company, industry, and market data (financial statements, corporate actions, news flow) to support timely and accurate research output.
  • Planning, hosting, and producing regular livestream sessions on the Company’s YouTube channel covering stock picks, market updates, and investment education; managing the content calendar, coordinating guests/speakers, and monitoring channel performance (views, subscribers, engagement) to grow audience reach.
  • Responding to research-related queries from clients and internal departments (Sales, Brokerage) and supporting road shows, webinars, and other investor engagement activities.
  • Ensuring all research output and public commentary (including livestream content) comply with regulatory requirements and internal compliance policy; performing other tasks as assigned by the Head of Equity Research.

OUTCOMES &MEASURES

  • Timeliness and accuracy of research reports and market information delivered to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Growth in YouTube channel reach and engagement (subscriber growth, average views, engagement rate) driven by livestream content.
  • Quality and consistency of investment theses/valuations, measured via forecast accuracy and internal/peer review.
  • Client and internal stakeholder satisfaction with research support and responsiveness.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Educational Qualifications

  • University graduate or higher in Business Administration, Finance, Securities, Banking, Economics, or related fields.
  • CFA/ACCA/CPA charter (or in progress) or an MBA in Finance is a plus.

2. Professional Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of the stock market, financial products, macroeconomics, corporate finance, financial statement analysis, and equity valuation methods.
  • Familiarity with digital/social media content production is an advantage.

3. Relevant Experience

  • At least 01 – 02 years of experience in equity research, corporate finance, or stock valuation at securities firms, investment funds, investment banks, financial institutions, or audit firms; prior on-camera/media or public-speaking experience is a plus.

4. Required Competencies

  • Proficient in English (4 skills), strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Confident and engaging on-camera presence for livestream hosting; strong analytical, data-processing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive, responsible, and able to work under deadline pressure.
