JOB PURPOSE
The Test Officer is responsible for verifying the quality, functionality, and stability of the company’s digital products. The role ensures that all applications — including web, mobile trading platform… meet business requirements, regulatory standards, and deliver a seamless user experience. The position contributes to maintaining the integrity and reliability of systems that support the company’s securities trading and investment services.
CRITICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Review business and technical requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing for trading platforms.
- Identify, document, and track defects through established defect management tools and processes.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to clarify requirements and verify fixes.
- Ensure testing activities comply with company processes, quality standards, and relevant financial regulations.
- Support post-release validation, production issue investigation, and root cause analysis when required.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA documentation, standards, and processes.

REQUIREMENTS
1. Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or related fields.
- Professional testing certifications such as ISTQB Foundation Level are preferred.
2. Knowledge
- Solid understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and defect management processes.
- Familiarity with web and mobile application testing, APIs, and database validation (SQL).
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology and testing tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Redmine).
- Basic knowledge of the securities trading system and financial systems is an advantage.
3. Relevant Experience
- 4–7 years of experience in manual testing, preferably in the financial services, fintech, or securities sector.
- Hands-on experience in executing functional, regression, and integration testing.
