The Nasdaq Composite Index fell on Tuesday as worries from Snap's dismal warning spilled over into other technology stocks, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average reversed gains from session lows. At the end of the session, the Nasdaq Composite index dropped 2.4% to 11,264.45 points. The S&P 500 fell 0.8% to 3,941.48. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones index added 48.4 points (or 0.2%) to 31,928.62 points. The index fell as much as 1.6% at the beginning of the session.

The Government submitted to the National Assembly to extend the time limit for application of all provisions of Resolution No. 42/2017/QH14 on piloting bad debt settlement of credit institutions until December 31, 2023; continue to maintain effective policies that the resolution has brought in order to speed up the settlement of bad debts and avoid disputes arising in practice.
