Asian markets mostly fell as investors faced volatile oil prices and escalating tensions in the Middle East, Brent oil prices at one point recovered to $100 per barrel even as the US and its allies announced the emergency release of unprecedented crude oil reserves to stabilize the energy market.

After a sharp increase for 4 consecutive sessions, the price of gasoline decreased by nearly 4,000 VND/liter last night, bringing the price of RON95-III gasoline to nearly 25,000 VND/liter. World oil prices soared close to $100 even though IEA countries are expected to release the largest oil reserves in history. Domestic gold prices decreased when SJC gold bars were listed by DOJI Group at 182.8-185.8 million VND/ton (buy - sell), down 1.4 million VND/ton in both directions.
