US stocks continued to record a positive trading session after Iranian state media announced that it would commit to restoring trade in the Strait of Hormuz within a month's time. However, the White House rejected the report by Iranian state media. Meanwhile, the recent rally in chip stocks has slowed down. Micron Technology shares, after rising more than 19% in the May 26 session and surpassing the $1 trillion mark in capitalization for the first time, only advanced 3.6% in the following session.
