US stocks continued to set new records thanks to momentum from technology stocks, in the context that the US and Iran reportedly reached an agreement to extend the ceasefire and inflation in April was lower than expected. Axios, citing two U.S. officials and a regional source, reported that U.S. and Iranian negotiators had agreed on a 60-day memorandum of understanding to extend the ceasefire and resume negotiations on Iran's nuclear program. However, President Donald Trump has not yet approved the deal, the source said.
