US stocks simultaneously fell in the 7/7 session in the context of investors shifting away from artificial intelligence, semiconductor stocks and rising oil prices after Iran attacked gas tankers. Crude oil prices continued to rise sharply in the morning session on Wednesday (July 8) after Iran attacked three commercial ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz and the United States revoked a joint license to trade Iranian crude oil and launched new air strikes against the country.
