Asian stocks diverged but leaned towards the green. South Korea's KOSPI led the region following the recovery of semiconductor stocks Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix. Japan's Nikkei 225 and Hong Kong's Hang Seng were also quite positive. Going upstream, Shanghai China was the only market in the region to decline.
