Asian stocks simultaneously prospered. South Korea's KOSPI made the strongest breakthrough in the region thanks to cash flows to semiconductor and technology stocks. Gold prices were the focus when domestic gold bars plunged violently in today's session. SJC gold in Ho Chi Minh City decreased by about 8 to 9 million VND each in the buying direction and 7 million VND in the selling direction, retreating to 135 million VND buying and 140 million selling VND, a rare sharp adjustment in just one day.
