US stocks fell sharply amid market concerns that the Fed has been slow in its fight against inflation by continuing to keep interest rates unchanged. The yield on the 30-year Treasury note rose sharply by 10 bps to above 5.2% - the highest since 2007. Three officials want to raise interest rates, but the Fed keeps interest rates unchanged.
