Under pressure from the sell-off in semiconductor stocks, US stocks recorded bond movements as the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite turned lower, while the Dow Jones continued to rise. Micron Technology lost 5.8%, while Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Broadcom fell more than 3% and 2%, respectively. Bond yields fell after CNBC reported that the Treasury Department could use the General Account to finance bond buybacks.
