- US stocks rallied to record highs and ended Friday (April 9) at intraday highs, as Wall Street closed the week with strong gains amid growing optimism about the reopening economic. The Dow Jones rose 297.03 points to 33,800.60, a record high close. The S&P 500 advanced 0.8% to 4,128.80, closing at a record high for the third consecutive session. The Nasdaq Composite added 0.5% to 13,900.19 points.
