- Cyclical stocks lifted the Dow from its lows on Thursday (June 3) to close the session mostly flat, while better-than-expected labor market data supported sentiment. Closing Thursday's session, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 23.34 points, or nearly 0.1%, to 34,577.04 points after dropping 265 points at the session's low. The S&P 500 fell 0.4% to 4,192.85 and the Nasdaq Composite lost 1% to 13,614.51 points.
