- U.S. stocks continued their gains on Friday with the S&P 500 extending gains to record highs, as investors bet higher inflation would be temporary as the economy resumes recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic. Closing the session, the S&P 500 gained 0.3% to close a new record high of 4,280.70 points. The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 237.02 points (0.7%) to 34,433.84 points, 2% below its all-time high. The Nasdaq Composite index wiped out early gains and ended the session down 0.1% at 14,360.39 points.

- Despite being affected by the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, Hanoi's economy still maintained growth. Generally, in the first 6 months of 2021, Hanoi's GRDP is estimated to increase by 5.91%, higher than the first 6 months of 2020 (3.39%) but lower than the first 6 months of 2019 (7.21%).

- At the end of the trading week from June 21-25, domestic individual investors had a series of 18 consecutive weeks of net buying on HoSE with a total value of 46,888b dong. Domestic organizations (not PT) significantly reduced their net selling value compared to the previous week to only 206b dong. Foreign investors net sold again on HoSE with the value of 566b dong.
