- US stocks rallied on Tuesday, sending the Dow Jones and S&P 500 to new record highs after the US Senate approved a $1 trillion infrastructure spending package. That promotes stocks associated with economic growth. Ending the session, the Dow Jones index added 162.82 points (0.46%) to a record of 35,264.67 points. The S&P 500 index edged up 0.1% to 4,436.75 points and closed at a fresh all-time high. Meanwhile, the Nasdaq Composite lost 0.5% to 14,788.09 points.
