- Dow Jones dropped 600 points, S&P 500 lost 1.7% in the biggest drop since May 2021. At the end of the session, the S&P 500 dropped 1.7% to 4,357.73 points, marking the biggest drop since May 12, 2021. This was a large-scale sell-off with each of the 11 major sectors in the index recording in the red. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 614.41 points, or 1.8 percent, to 33,970.47, also seeing its biggest drop since July 19, 2021. The Nasdaq Composite Index lost 2.2% to 14,713.90 points.

- The SBV has adjusted down interest rates three times in a row with a total reduction of 1.5-2.0%/year for the operating interest rate, 0.6-1.0%/year of the ceiling deposit interest rate less than 6 months; reducing the ceiling interest rate for short-term loans by 1.5%/year for priority sectors (currently at 4.5%/year), ready to support liquidity for credit institutions, creating favorable conditions for credit institutions to access financial resources.

GAS, GVR, MSN were the 3 VN30 stocks that fell the most with a drop of over 2%; VN30 group had 15 losers. However, the gaining momentum of 13 stocks in the VN30 group was just enough to keep the VN30 from losing momentum like VNIndex.
