- Foreign investors continued to net buy over 600 billion dong in the session of October 28. HPG was still strongly bought by foreign investors with a value of 195 billion dong. GAS, DXG and MSN were all net bought over 100 billion dong. Meanwhile, NLG was sold the most with 126 billion dong. KBC and VRE were both net sold over 40 billion dong.

- The Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) said that seafood exports to the US in the third quarter of 2021 slowed down compared to the second quarter, but still increased by 5.7% compared to the same period last year. By the end of September 2021, Vietnam's seafood exports to the US reached US$1.45 billion, up 24% over the same period last year.

- HDB: just reported 9-month pre-tax profit, up 39% to over VND 6,084 billion, thanks to the growth of non-interest income. In the third quarter net interest income increased by 9% over the same period, reaching VND3,306 billion. Profit from the service was 329 billion dong, approximately the same period. In the quarter, HDBank reduced the cost of credit risk provision by 7%, only deducting more than VND 403 billion. As a result, the Bank reported a 28% increase in pre-tax profit, reaching VND 1,891 billion.

Technology revenue reached VND 14,294 billion, up 22% and pre-tax profit reached VND 2,097 billion, up 30%. These indicators account for 57% and 46% of FPT, respectively. In which, foreign information technology services brought in revenue of VND 10,415 billion (up 19%) and a profit before tax of VND 1,732 billion (up 22%).
