US stocks continued to rise sharply in a volatile session on Wednesday (March 16), after the US Federal Reserve (Fed) raised interest rates and said it would raise interest rates six more times this year. At the end of the session, the Dow Jones index rose 518.76 points (or 1.5%) to 34,063.10 points, after recording the initial red after the Fed's statement. This index fluctuated within the range of 576 points during the session. The S&P 500 gained 2.2% to 4,357.95 and the Nasdaq Composite added 3.7% to 13,436.55.

In the first two months of 2022, FDI into Vietnam, investment capital through capital contribution and share purchase reached US$769.6 million, up 41.7% over the same period last year. The number of newly registered projects increased by 45.2%, reaching 183 projects. However, newly registered investment reached 631.8 million USD, down 80.9% over the same period last year.
