US stocks fell sharply on Friday (June 10), after an inflation report showed a faster-than-expected price increase and consumer sentiment dropped to a record low. Ending the session, the Dow Jones fell 880 points (or 2.73%) to 31,392.79 points. The S&P 500 fell 2.91% to 3,900.86 points. The Nasdaq Composite Index lost 3.52% to 11,340.02 points
