Session 26/7: Foreign investors had the 5th net buying session on HoSE but the value decreased by 65% compared to the previous session (54.5b VND). They were the strongest net buyers of VCB with 34b VND, MWG and SSI was 22 billion VND and 21.6b VND, respectively, DGC was sold the most with a value of 38.8b VND. VNM is behind with a net selling value of 17b VND.

US stocks drop follow as Walmart profit warning. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 228.5 points, equivalent as 0.71%, to 31,761.54 points. The S&P 500 index fell 1.15% to 3,921.05. The Nasdaq Composite Index fell about 1.87% to 11,562.57 points. However, all three major US stock indexes are still heading for the best month of gains in 2022.

According to the Hanoi Tax Department, the city's budget revenue in the first seven months of the year reached more than VND 167,679 billion, equaling 59.5% of the estimate, up 24.9% over the same period in 2021, better than the overall growth of the whole country (up 17.6%). In which, revenue from securities, real estate and banking increased sharply compared to the same period last year.
