At the end of the session, the VN-Index increased by 28.61 points (equivalent to 2.84%) to 1,034.81 points, regaining most of what was lost in the previous session (36 points). Foreign investors also net bought 1,200 billion VND.

On the morning of October 12, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended the celebration of Vietnam Entrepreneurs Day and honored typical Vietnamese Entrepreneurs 2022 organized by the Vietnam Federation of Industry and Commerce (VCCI). The Prime Minister said that the XIII Congress of the Party has set a goal to strive to have at least 2 million enterprises by 2030 with the proportion of the private sector's contribution to GDP reaching 60-65%.

With the addition of an interest rate of 0.5%, people depositing at SCB can receive the highest interest rate up to 9.35%/year for a term of 36 months. If customers deposit for 6 months, the interest rate after adding is 8.4%/year, for 12 months after adding it is 9%/year.
